Last week, IEBP received notable media coverage in local news paper in Icelandic with two articles highlighting its innovative approach and future goals.

The first article, published by Bændablaðið – BBL, included an interview with Ken Noda, CEO of i-farm, a Japanese company aiming to make substantial contributions to Icelandic agriculture by growing Japanese strawberries, a new type for the island. Ken discussed how i-farm’s partnership with Iceland Eco-Business Park could help advance sustainable food production in Iceland, leveraging advanced technologies and a collaborative spirit.

The second feature, in VíkurFréttir – VF, showcased IEBP’s vision for creating valuable, diverse job opportunities in Iceland. The article explored the park’s mission to integrate sustainability and circular business models into a thriving business ecosystem, supporting a growing future for the Helguvík region and beyond. It exist a shared vision between IEBP and KADECO (Keflavik Airport Development Corporation) the organisation behind the K64 project focusing on developing the areas around Keflavik Airport and driving regional growth by attracting diverse, sustainable business opportunities.

These features underline Iceland Eco-Business Park’s commitment to fostering sustainable industry and strong international partnerships, cementing its role as a pivotal player in Iceland’s eco-innovation landscape.
